2020 was a banner year for Svensk Butik, the Kingsburg Chamber of Commerce Business of the year. June Hess, the Swedish shop’s owner said December 2020 was the best sales month in the store’s 35 year history. Plus tourists from seventy-nine different countries visited Svensk Butik in just one year. That fact is an amazing testament to Kingsburg’s outreach. Despite Covid 19 and shut downs, Kingsburg was alive and hopping in 2020.
On May 27th Kingsburg Chamber of Commerce held its annual Dinner and Awards Banquet honoring the service of Kingsburg citizens who had gone above and beyond the call of duty serving the Kingsburg Community. The banquet featured food from The Roadhouse 99, a delicious meal from a business moving into a new location behind Corsaro’s Family Pizza. The honorees were presented with a sincere thank you from a grateful community.
